Helping With Insomnia

Making Life Better!

Helping You Discover Nighttime Peace

Insomnia can be a result of a number of sleep disorders, breathing anomalies, e,g, apnea. It could also be lifestyle-induced or a consequence of psychological or oxidative stress, undue worries or concerns over the difficulties of living in these times!

Many other factors can be at play too, e.g. relationships, family issues or even a lumpy mattress? It could also be a consequence of psychological repression (mental defence mechanisms) or maybe latent or unresolved emotional trauma!

And if that doesn't fit the bill, maybe it's a result of extenuating circumstances right now. The accumulation of one's life experience can affect our sense of being, often without us even knowing. The state of being unaware of these accumulated experiences may be contributing to, if not a major, cause of insomnia. So many possibilities!

Learn The Art Of The Inner World!

Hypnotherapy can help you get to sleep by:

Re-educating your mind to expect to enjoy a good night's sleep

Relaxation techniques help your mind and body slow down at the end of each day. Sleeping becomes easier in this state.

Help learn techniques to remove some of the noise from a racing mind.

Help understand the causes of insomnia and sleeping problems.

Generally, sleep problems fall into two categories. The first, simply finding it difficult to settle or not being able to fall asleep at night. The second involves waking up at an inconveniently early hour and not being able to fall asleep again. Learning effective self-hypnosis skills can help significantly improve sleep patterns. They also help with some of the indirect effects of insomnia and sleep problems. For example, daytime anxiety and bruxism (teeth grinding during the night).

It is recommended that you make use of the additional information you will be given as a part of your therapy. For example, by taking the time and effort necessary to become skilful at this!

The moments before sleep are scientifically measurable as light trance states (hypnotic). The skills you will learn and the hypnotic component will help to facilitate sleep. Because you can learn to achieve this comfortable, daydreamy state at will, you will become a sleep expert. Imagine the benefits this will bring to your daily life - more energy and enthusiasm, better health, confidence and motivation.

Chronic insomnia and sleep disorders.
Many people experience a bad night's sleep for various reasons, commonly because they have something or maybe several things on their minds. However, if you’re sleeping problems continue for more than several days at a time, you should see your doctor. They can check that your sleeplessness isn't a more serious condition requiring medical treatment?
