EFT (emotional freedom techniques)
Tapping into your core energy systems to find inner peace!

What is EFt?
EFT (emotional freedom techniques) is a Meridian Therapy that involves tapping the head and body with your fingers; it has been likened to acupuncture; without needles! In reality, the two procedures are practically and physically poles apart.
EFT essentially separates our thoughts from our feeling or emotion; hence the term emotional freedom. Our thoughts are intrinsically linked to our emotions and vice versa. The tapping procedure, whilst saying certain phrases, somehow breaks this connection and I have provided a Tapping Guide below, so please give it a try.
For those who prefer to seek expert help, I provide specific EFT sessions. I guess the most difficult part for you, the client, is that you may find it difficult to know exactly what words to say. Obviously, as a practitioner with over 16 years of experience, I have a good grasp of what to say. Naturally, the words and phrases come from the pre-session discussion of your issue(s) as well as a collective of my many years of experience.
Sometimes it is the case that the problem itself cannot easily be identified! We may be well aware of the surface symptoms but the underlying problem is somehow masked. No matter what the case may be, rest assured, there are ways to ascertain the cause and from there the solution can be found.

EFT was developed by American Gary Craig (retired). Gary, an engineer by training, studied many fields of Human Development, e.g. NLP, Coaching, and TFT (Thought Field Therapy). EFT is the collective experience of his life experience and, no doubt added to the effectiveness of EFT. But without a doubt, it closely emulates TFT, which he studied, under Roger Callaghan PhD (the developer of TFT). EFT is a synthesis and a subtle adaption of TFT, plus all of Gary's experience. He is also a Minister of religion and this adds to Gary's profound human touch. Whilst Gary has hung up his Taps; EFT continues to grow in the capable hands of his many Disciples.

Gary Craig, The Founder of EFT
EFT is based on impressive new discoveries about the body's subtle energy systems and has been amazingly helpful with many thousands of clients around the world.
Somehow it allows you to connect with your mind-body systems in a way that is both uniquely different and very helpful. The beauty of EFT is that you will learn how to maintain and build a new paradigm in equilibrium, which will help you achieve optimum health!
EFT releases negative feelings, whether they are emotional or physical, and whether they refer to the past, the present or the future. It is an energy therapy that starts from the premise that what troubles us, is not what happens or has happened or may happen to us. But, rather it is what happens to our body's energy systems in response to these things. The gentle tapping effectively makes shifts in our energy system, which in turn sets in motion the re-balancing of our energy field. It is this subtle rebalancing, that eliminates the effect of the disruption and more often than not, the effect is permanent!
It can be deceptively simple - and richly complex. EFT uses tapping points on the head and body that cover the body's major meridian lines while focusing on what the person wants to resolve. It is our ability to articulate what we feel or think that holds the key to the efficacy of EFT!
Therapists on every continent have found it an invaluable way to work with clients - and themselves. Clients have found it empowering both working with therapists and using it as a self-help technique.
EFT has been used successfully on a whole range of physical and emotional conditions. These include pain control, panic/anxiety, depression, stress, addictive behaviours, PTSD, weight control, performance enhancement, phobias and much more. In fact, whatever it is that the person wants to deal with, EFT can often help!
The real joy of EFT is what you can do with it, once you have resolved what you first sought therapy for? This is because the brain/mind combination is literally a Palace of Possibilities! Why stop at the removal of the negative part that was holding you back; why not go for Gold?
