EFT (emotional freedom techniques) is a Meridian Therapy that involves tapping the head and body with your fingers; it has been likened to acupuncture; without needles! In reality, the two procedures are practically and physically poles apart.
EFT essentially separates our thoughts from our feeling or emotion; hence the term emotional freedom. Our thoughts are intrinsically linked to our emotion and vice versa. The tapping procedure, whilst saying certain phrases, somehow breaks this connection and I have provided a Tapping Guide below, so please give it a try.

Insomnia can be a result of a number of sleep disorders, breathing anomalies, e,g, apnea. It can also be lifestyle-induced or a consequence of stress, undue worry or concern over the difficulties of living. Many other factors can be at play too, e.g. relationship or family issues, even a lumpy mattress? It could also be the result of psychological repression (mental defence mechanisms) or even latent or unresolved emotional trauma! Our perspective of life is in a constant state of flux, one minute we feel happy and the next, sad. Often we have no awareness of why or how these changes occur but there is always a reason? One of the major reasons we have this ever-changing experience of life is because we are sentient beings. The senses of Sight (vision), Sound (speech and hearing), Touch (feeling) are largely responsible for that. These senses, collectively known as V-K-A, (vision, kinaesthetic, auditory), together with olfactory (smell) and gustatory (taste), make up our 5 senses and are the primary way our brain works the way it does. Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is an emerging illness characterised by debilitating fatigue (experienced as exhaustion, poor stamina), neurological problems or a variety of flu-like symptoms. The illness is also known as chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome (CFIDS). Outside of the USA is usually known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME). In the past, the syndrome has been known as chronic Epstein-Barr virus (CEBV).
The core symptoms include excessive fatigue, general pain, mental fogginess, and often gastro-intestinal problems. Many other symptoms will also be present; however, they will typically be different among different patients. These include fatigue following stressful activities; headaches; sore throat; sleep disorder; abnormal temperature; and others. Grief is a natural process that takes place after some kind of loss and usually associated with the death of a loved one. However, it can also be experienced for pets, sometimes objects, animate, e.g. your job/business or inanimate, say your home or a consequence of a fire or flood etc! However, the most usual forms of grief, in terms of my practice, is the grief one experiences for a loss experienced when a loving relationship breaks down. When someone dies, the final stage of grief is the acceptance that they are gone and life takes of a different form of normality. However, when a romantic relationship ends, they are not gone and could come back and that, sometimes, complicates or stalls the process of acceptance. 1) The concerns and worries we have about ourselves are linked to what we think others think of us. Often these thoughts are groundless, if only because we rarely know what others actually think! However, what we think about ourselves; that’s a different story altogether! The fear of what others think is usually based on what we think about ourselves. The rationale being, if we don’t think much of ourselves; why should anyone else!
2) That we are not comfortable doing things that we do not do well. Added to this are our thoughts when observing others if we see them making a hash of something. The rationale being, what we think of them, is what they'll think of us. Which essentially equates to us assuming we will not do well either.
